  This is a super addon!

  I want to say right away – this is a wonderful gem among the author's addons, for creating incomparable volumetric creations from VDBs. At first, I was even overwhelmed by the abundance of possibilities the addon offers: clouds, explosions, nebulae, storms, fog, smoke, abstract controllable objects, and even mountains. And now imagine all this being dynamically adjustable!!! It's simply mind-blowing. I thought the system would lag. Nothing of the sort – the addon is perfectly optimized and allows for the free creation of volumetric controllable metrics.

  This addon fully lives up to its promise and perfectly implements what it's designed for and what the description says. The description is even more modest than the addon's capabilities.
  At the same time, the addon is easy to use, and with just a little practice, I become a master of the elements in Blender.
  Initially, I purchased an incomplete version, but after trying the addon out, I purchased the ULTIMATE version. And now, like an enthusiastic youth, I'm overjoyed at such a huge collection.

  Recommendation: definitely buy.
  You can upgrade to Star Generator, which will bring you closer to the stars.

  You won't regret it!

  Après avoir vu les tutoriels de VDB Animator, l’addon avait l’air vraiment impressionnant. Malheureusement, une fois installé et utilisé, mon expérience a été exactement l’inverse.

  J’ai passé des heures entières à tester tous les réglages possibles : mouvements, animations, transformations, couleurs, paramètres divers… rien ne se passe. Absolument rien.

  J’ai suivi les tutoriels à la lettre, plusieurs fois, et j’ai même essayé bien davantage que ce qui est montré dans les vidéos. Malgré ça, impossible d’obtenir le moindre résultat.

  J’ai également contacté le créateur de l’addon. Sa réponse a essentiellement été : « Regardez les tutoriels. » Le problème, c’est justement que je les ai regardés et reproduits soigneusement, sans que cela fonctionne.

  Quand on est créateur, on achète normalement un addon pour gagner du temps, simplifier son workflow et éviter de devoir tout faire manuellement. Certainement pas pour passer des heures à chercher pourquoi un outil censé fonctionner ne produit absolument aucun résultat.

  Au final, cet addon m’a fait perdre énormément de temps au lieu de m’en faire gagner. Au vu de mon expérience, je regrette complètement cet achat et je déconseille VDB Animator. Pour moi, l’écart entre ce qui est montré dans les démonstrations et ce que j’ai réellement pu obtenir est totalement inacceptable.

  Despite your review, 4DView stands by its product and continues to claim that it does exactly what it advertises. The product has been tested multiple times, and all versions work flawlessly. This is also demonstrated by the tutorials and the review on the product page. It’s a functional add-on that makes it easy to create and animate complex cloud formations. And anyone can see how easy it is.

  How can you claim that 4DView only told you to watch tutorials? You contacted support three times and once even wrote in French. A lot of time was spent trying to help you with your problems, but even that didn’t help. You received specific answers to your questions regarding your issues and the use of the add-on. In the end, you did neither what was explained to you nor what is shown in the tutorials or described in the user manual.

  The fact that this add-on isn't working for you is certainly not the add-on's fault. Installation is simple, loading the VDBs is straightforward, and everything works perfectly. However, you don't seem willing to follow the steps shown in the user manual or the tutorials. And then you blame 4DView or the product for your wasted time?

  Didn't work for me. I followed the tutorials but it didn't work properly. Really dissapointed.

  So, you say that the tutorials present a functional add-on, and a functional add-on is also provided for review (product page). But if someone buys this add-on, the customer gets a faulty one? You yourself have now confirmed that this add-on works in the tutorials. I'm sorry you're not capable of doing what you're shown, but that's not 4DView's fault.

  The addon is very difficult to understand and use and the tutorials doesnt really help. Try several times to practice it and understand it but unfortunately its too complex to use.

  This add-on continues to sell despite the first two bad reviews, precisely because customers see in the tutorials that it allows them to quickly and easily create complex VDB animations of various types. This is completely opposite to what you're writing about this product. Are you expecting me to believe you're being honest? Why did you buy this add-on if it's far too complex for you? The tutorials you yourself mention show buyers in advance how to work with the add-on and what results it produces. If you bought the add-on with good intentions, why didn't you ever ask for support to work with it? You seem to have absolutely no interest in making progress with this add-on. But you are highly motivated to give the worst possible rating for this product. All of this only suggests that you didn't have good intentions with your purchase.

  Very poorly designed interface, unusable, incomprehensible. And the plug-in is full of bugs and keeps crashing. It's a real shame, because it could have a lot of potential.

  The tutorials clearly show what the addon can do and what it offers. It is clear to the buyer what kind of interface they are getting and that neither the addon nor Blender crashes, even with more demanding projects. For this reason, I wonder what you are actually trying to achieve with this review.
