Previous version of blender show different effects, why?
Indeed blender versions below 2.78 tend to process the shader nodes differently. Therefore it is advised to use the latest stable version.
I try to add the shader to suzanne and it does not look the same, why?
Since these shaders where created with the gradient node on sphere settings, using these shaders on any objects other then sphere will not result in the falloff adjusting to a different object.
