  As I'm getting more into 2D Stylized animation in 3D, this is vital for me to be able to see what is happening in 3D, so I can draw with grease pencil knowing where 3D objects will be frames later. This is such a helpful, well made, intuitive add on!

  Does exactly what it says; allows for onion skinning in 3d. It's kind of hard to believe blender hasn't natively implemented this feature however, with how simple and straightforward this addon is, there might be no need anymore. What I like about this addon is that it allows you to generate onion frames manually or automatically (even if you've added, removed or changed a keyframe). For me this is a better visual tool than motion paths, as I can see the evolution of my animation fully instead of only relying on lines to read a certain motion I'm trying to achieve. A neat feature as well, is the support of vertex groups, which allows me to isolate certain parts of an object to track its motion. It's incredibly useful for tracking specific body parts of a character rig and I'm sure it could be even more useful for complex models. All in all, it's a great addon, especially if you come from a background of traditional 2d animation and would like a bit more visual aid. 10/10

  It's great!!! It does need a bit more refining to handle larger scenes but it works so well with splining...but there's my problem with it right now; I wish it could work for stepped animation, so as it is it does need more to really make it essential but I'm exited for future updates!!
