  Had a problem getting this addon to work, but VICUBE animation got back to me, and it was simple!! The file path in the addo has to be to the actual Blender file, not just the folder it's in. Was driving me nuts!! Thanks VICUBE for sorting it out and for the excellent addon!!

  Just remember that you need a PBR material. I imported DAZ scenes and their material will need to be changed to PBR for this to work. Perhaps you could look at the material generated by Diffeomorphic and provide a different adder for that default material structure.

  Many thanks for the rating :) Yes, for now the shading effects only work if the material has a Principled BSDF in it. It’s a bit hard to implement with others because I need specific sockets for them.

  Best add on I've purchased so far. As a beginner to blender, repeatedly having to add fog, dust, and volumetric lights was taking up so much time. This has saved me hours of work and looks so realistic and amazing. I had some issues with the cobweb generator but after asking for assistance they gave me great step-by-step instructions on how to fix my user error immediately. I've had a lot of issues getting responses or help from other add on creators so I was surprised by how good Vicube Animation customer service was. Will definitely keep this company on my watch list so I can check out anything new they make.

  I bought this thinking I would use it sometimes but it's actually saved me a lot of time. I'm able to make my scenes look a lot more finished and a much faster pace. It's very user friendly and simple to use. I have 1 wish from this add on and that would be the option to break up the geometry on edges, similar to the OCD add-on. Overall, I recommend this to all of my friends and really recommend it to Concept artists as it really does save you a lot of time with texturing and adding fog to your scenes. I spent hours learning how to do these things manually and saving presets but this just does it for you! Fantastic work!

  Many thanks for the rating! I'm very happy you like it and that it can save you time! Breaking up the geometry on the edges is a good idea. I already tried some things with it, but it wasn’t stable enough for larger scenarios. Maybe it will be added in the future :)

  I just got it and tested it, it is well done and works beautifully .. I'm not sure what else can be added to it for a future upgrade ! It's just perfect .. thanx for such a product

  Ok, this worked really well. I'm a bit of a noob so I stumbled a bit getting the python to work but once I managed to save it under the proper extension the plugin worked exactly as the video demonstrated. So far, very happy. If I could add some wish list items for the future, adding drip details (such as old rust from a leaking water pipe) and a color or texture picker for dust and dirt colors accessible from the UI would be fantastic. At this point, no complaints at all though. Great plug in!

  Hi Brad, many thanks for your nice feedback! I have also added your points to the wishlist for the next updates. Till now you can use the dirt function also for rust effects on a general scale but i already have plans to improve this further in the future :)

It's designed and create so well that you would think it's just something that comes with Blender by default. It's also very efficient, so you won't have to deal with lags or crashes.
