Procedural Spider Webs for Blender
Generate spider webs and simulate them with real silk-like physics on your GPU, no dependencies. Build a web, drop in the solver, watch it sag, stick, and tear as things move through it.
What it does
Orb Webs — classic radial/spiral webs with scalloped sag, uneven spiral spacing, damage gaps, and asymmetry
Chaotic Cobwebs — 3D webbing that spins itself across your scene geometry, corners and props included
Web Shot — fire strands from an emitter like a web-shooter. They fly, stick where they hit, or whip loose on a miss. Works with animated emitters and moving targets
GPU solver — Verlet/PBD physics with tearing, unilateral silk constraints, wind, and mesh or sphere collision. disable GPU solver in the viewport to re-tweaking the webs.
Web Pulls Collider — two-way coupling into Blender's rigid body sim, so stuck silk can actually drag objects around (experimental)
Rendering — Strandify converts the sim into smooth silk tubes, with Silk, Synthetic Web, and Tension heatmap materials, plus optional dew droplets
Requirements
Blender 5.2 LTS or newer. No external dependencies, everything runs on Blender's native GPU module.
