  I realized I needed a lip sync plugin well into working on a project in 5.1, only to discover that the bundled lip sync extension is not 5.1 compatible and, if their GitHub issues tracker is any indication, aren't rushing to fix that. The idea of loading my entire project into 4.5 just for one plugin, fixing who knows what along the way, wasn't very appealing. But I'm actually quite glad it happened and that I thought to search to see if any other lip sync plugins had been made, because it meant that I found this one, and it's fantastic. Extremely easy to set up and use for multiple character scenes, with an highly intuitive workflow and great results. Very much worth the $25.
