Create Materials

Optionally Adjust strength for Normal map, Bump map, Displacement, then click Create Materials to generate all materials and preview spheres.

The Merge Materials tool helps you clean up your scene by automatically combining duplicate materials. When creating materials in bulk, Blender sometimes adds numerical suffixes (like .001, .002, etc.) to material names—even if the materials are identical. This can lead to clutter and unnecessary duplicates. The Merge Materials button looks through your scene for materials like:

  • Wood
  • Wood.001
  • Wood.002

…and if they’re duplicates of the original Wood material, it replaces them all with the original one.

With "Mark All Scene Materials as Assets" you can mark all materials in the scene as assets for easy management.
