Short Description
Effortlessly batch render collections with perfect isolation and real-time viewport preview. One-click toggles, selected-object activation, and clean timestamped PNG output – essential for background artists, layered compositing, and multi-pass workflows.

Full Description
Batch Layer Render is a lightweight yet powerful add-on that lets you render multiple collection sets in complete isolation while maintaining full control over viewport visibility.
Key Features
- Perfect Isolation Rendering Uses both hide_render and exclude to ensure disabled collections have zero influence on the render result – ideal for clean layered PNGs and compositing.
- Live Viewport Visibility Toggle Eye-icon toggle right next to each collection in the list. Instantly show/hide collections in the 3D viewport for quick visual confirmation. No need to jump to the Outliner.
- One-Click “Enable Selected Objects’ Collections” Select objects in the viewport → click the button → all collections containing those objects are instantly activated. Perfect for fast isolation and test renders.
- Job Queue Management Create, rename, reorder, and delete jobs. Each job remembers its own collection settings, making it easy to switch between different layer setups.
- Automatic Collection Sync Only scene-linked collections are loaded and sorted alphabetically. Existing active/hidden states are preserved when syncing.
- Clean Output Renders to PNG with transparent background support. Files are automatically named with timestamp + job number + custom job name (e.g., 20251229-143022_001_Character.png).
- Safe State Restoration After batch rendering, all original collection visibility states (both render and viewport) are fully restored.

Perfect For
- Background illustrators who need separate flat-color passes from Blender
- Architectural & product visualization artists creating material/lighting passes
- VFX and motion graphics artists building multi-layer composites
- Anyone who frequently needs clean, isolated renders from complex scenes
Simple, fast, and reliable – once you start using it, you’ll wonder how you ever worked without it.
