While in Blender you must open whatever Scene/View Layer to change anything, BSM lets users to get rid of open anything. Speed up your workflow like never before, as well as save a lot of system resources. No need to switch between Scenes or View Layers, and all related settings unified.
For instance, you can change View Layer 2 Passes from View Layer 1. Even change Scene 2 View Layer 2 Passes from Scene 1 View Layer 1. That is an example, you will find EVERY setting, property and panel inside BSM interface.
Native Blender interface is based on current active scene/view layer/collection. When you need to change anything in other one, you must open it before. This leads Blender to remove and load new data on each change (worst on big projects). While it is robust, Blender interface is not something that gets updates frequently.
