The coolest thing about Blender Buddy is (he?) can write code AND EXECUTE IT! Use at your own risk.
Hallucinations?
Just like any Buddy, Blender Buddy trips sometimes. The higher LLM preset you choose the better.
Windows? Mac? Linux?
Yes to all 3. HOWEVER, you will need 16gb+ of RAM to run it! VRAM of course is even better.
But I don't have 16gb of RAM...
We can't all be friends with Buddy.
Support?
Your buddy = your problem. It's free so i'm not focused on bugs/updates.
Model files directory?
They will download into your Blender's datafiles folder. Something like '/Users/admin/Library/Application Support/Blender/5.1/datafiles/blender_buddy/models' (for mac). Or like 'C:\Users\admin\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\5.1\datafiles ' (for windows)
