Truly an amazing and fun tool for blockout far better than the skin modifier! Blender really should start adopting this as the default! The blockouts look really cool even before remeshing, it's really satisfying to get creative with it! I had a few questions on how to do certain things and the creator replied the same day! This is one of the best addons that exist it deserves way more attention I will recommend this to everyone using blender for character modeling!

Highly recommended addon for Blender workflows.

Block Surfaces is clean, efficient, and extremely useful for creating structured models quickly. It simplifies complex tasks and speeds up production without compromising quality. A solid and reliable tool for any Blender user.

Honestly, it deserves more than just 5 stars for the value it provides.

Addon is incredibly effective and has made blender a lot more fun. Being able to quickly test out characters without rigging them is a huge bonus. The tutorials and videos are a great resource. I had some trouble (user error) and Aitor was quick to respond to my questions and help me out.

addon is great! but when will Blender4.3 or 4.4 be supported?

Hi Keai, thank you for that rating.
In Blender version 4.3, you can try it out. You might get some messages, but from what I've seen, it already works quite well in 4.3 and you can work with it. I will resume this as soon as I can. I'm currently dealing with some issues, and as soon as I can, I will resume with the new versions and some updates. Thank you.

I tried many different method to learn to create characters in blender, and for me "BlockSurfaces" was the most efficient and beginner friendly tool.
Aitor also provides detailed tutorials and tips on the youtube channel (AitToolsB) which helped me a lot to get used to the tool. And his feedback on any questions or issues was really detailed and informative.
This tool is amazing to block-out the shapes fast and efficiently, and its also intuitive to work with. So i highly recommend this tool for those who wants to create their own characters. Thank you so much.

This oversimplifies modelling and if you can imagine it you can model it in extremely simple steps. My dreams have risen a million fold after using BlockSurfaces. It would not have been possible without BlockSurfaces. Many Many Thanks.

Wow dioib!, what a review that's made my day! It's incredibly gratifying to know that our addon has become your preferred blockout tool. Speed, ease, and convenience of use were our priorities, so it's great to know we're on the right track. It's wonderful to hear that we've incorporated features you find useful like "simulated rig" . We're truly grateful to deserve that recommendation to other character artists. Thank you so much for the support and energy your words give us to keep improving. I wish you the very best of luck with your projects - I'm really looking forward to seeing them!

This addon is simply fantastic! I've never left a comment before, but I felt compelled to express how impressed I am with this work. The addon has motivated me so much that I decided to come here and leave my praise. I'm still learning how to use it, but I'm excited to master all its features. Once I become more familiar with the addon and create something with it, I would love to share my work with you it can be used as an example. Excellent job!
