Installation

In Blender open Edit, Preferences, Get Extensions, then use Install from Disk and pick the zip.

Usage

  1. Open the Bonsai tab in the 3D viewport sidebar (N), or use Add, Mesh, Bonsai.
  2. Click the big picture to choose a design, then Add Bonsai.
  3. With the bonsai selected, change it in the tabs: Tree, Foliage, Deadwood & Wire, Pot, Ground & Stand, Detail & Export.
  4. Surprise, Vary and Look make new variations; Fit Pot to Tree sizes the pot by the bonsai rule of thumb.
  5. Convert to Mesh gives you a plain mesh for export or editing.
