Camera Post FX for Blender

blenderVfxMaster in Rendering

Which Blender and operating system versions are tested?
Version 1.0.0 is tested in Blender 5.2.2 on macOS Apple Silicon. The accelerated backend requires macOS 14 or newer. A portable CPU option is included, but Windows, Linux and Intel Mac are not certified for this release.
Does it replace my render or change my scene?
No. Camera Post FX creates a separate image result. The original Render Result and original files remain unchanged. Adding a compositor image node leaves existing links intact.
Does it work with HDR and transparent images?
Yes. Processing and OpenEXR export retain scene-linear HDR values. Choose Extend Glow, Preserve Input Alpha or Opaque. PNG export uses the current scene view transform.
Is this a live viewport effect or an animation renderer?
No. Apply processes one loaded image or finished frame on demand. Optional after-render processing is for a single-frame job. Multi-frame animation jobs are skipped and their render files are not replaced.
Do I need another renderer or an external account?
No external renderer, subscription or account is required. Use a finished Blender render or an image already loaded into Blender.
Why is there little glow in my image?
Bloom and glare respond to bright pixels. For a regular 0–1 image, lower Highlight Threshold below its highlights. Lens Flare also needs positive Bloom Power. Strong HDR highlights provide more energy.
What are the practical image-size limits?
The default memory limit is 16 megapixels. High-resolution HDR images need enough RAM. Chromatic Fringing uses many samples and is slower on the CPU; start with smaller images or leave it at zero while exploring other controls.
