Open Blender. In Edit/Preferences/File Paths, add this folder as Asset Library.

Now you can access the nodegroup assets through the Asset Browser window.

You can also open the file & explore the working & composition of each asset nodegroup.

Further, you can create variations of any of the setup by tweaking the settings & then storing the same as a new asset nodegroup.

If you are a beginner/newbie, I recommend to make a copy of the files in a separate folder.
