Super Add-on ! The ability to only enable the addons i need at startup/depending on the tasks is a must have

Only thing missing for me would be to have categories as panels and addons as subpanels directly, (kinda the same as n-panel subfolder addon, but not sure if that could be implemented)

This is actually a 2-star review, but since I have to express criticism and want this to be acknowledged, it is just a 1-star review.

Clean Panels got a huge addon. Why making it that complacate? The reason might be to fit users needs. On the other hand, most users just need that:

A TOOL WHICH ALLOWS YOU TO QUICKLY ADD AND ORGANIZE YOUR ADDONS IN THE N-PANEL.

    This means:

    - option to add / remove an addon in the N-Panel
    - Option to sort them in the N-Panel

Ok. Done, right? Nope. It is 100 times more complex as it seems when using this addon. You need at first watch / read thewhole tutorial / manual, then, you have to go through all the differrent kinds of settings, understand them and set it up for your needs, which takes quite a lot of time. Then you realize you may have done something wrong and need to figure out what you set up wrong. Then you work with your addon. A short time later, you notice you have a new addon you purchased or need to add another one from your invetory which isn't installed yet. You need then to remember how to set it up and set it up properly without destroying your whole setup. You struggle, because you can't remember how it was set up and what all these settings mean. Then you get a little bit angry, and notice, that you just wanted to... oh, and then you think this might not be a good addon, you need to write a review and blame the developer for not making it easy to use at all, which also takes time, but nobody pays for it if you do that. But you hope maybe even some day it will get REALLY good, whil it is SOMEHOW BAD, allthough it SOMEHOW seems to be good.

Is that an easy and user-friendly addon? No, in parts no! It takes time, it is complex. You just wanted to add a new addon and sort it in the list. This addon became a time and brain eater, at least from the perspective of a user. This addon needs to be broken down to a minimal level. @developer: I have an important task for you: make it easy. It couold be THAT easy. Maybe just add something like a "simple" N-Panel Setup with sorting, activating options and a quick link to the install page in the settings. Then I have all I need. Currently, I am quitting this addon. It is faster to activate / deactivate the addons in the settings of Blender at the moment.

    Thanks.

      Hi Bernd,

Thank you so much for taking the time to write a detailed review, and I apologize for the unpleasant experience you had. I want to assure you that we take user feedback very seriously. We're constantly striving to make the addon simpler and more intuitive, which is why we added an option to hide functions that aren't needed to simplify the UI.

If you're willing to help us improve and make it more user-friendly, please reach out to us through BlenderMarket messages or our Discord server. I promise we'll address your concerns within a week or two(probably in a few days) . We are also considering adding an "Easy UI" mode that only shows the most essential features, but we need your input to determine what those features should be.

I look forward to hearing from you and making the addon better for everyone. Sorry again for the inconvenience.

      Best regards,
      Amandeep

If I have 50 addon before to use your category I need to activate all which has no logic(maybe with some addon settings is ok in order to keep modifications but is not the right way) So this pro is a patch for older one which actually was a ... .Pie menu is working in edit mode only but some addon are working in object mode. There it is a conflict with shortcuts if more addon are activated so if I activated 50 I need to go back to see which one is in conflict ... and more

Hey Petrea, Thanks for the feedback and sorry about the bad experience you had with the addon. We have mentioned on the product page that the ability to load addons in groups (instead of all at once) will be added in a future version. We are already working on it, and this feature will be available in the next few weeks. I am not 100% sure I understand the issue you mentioned with pie menus, but I think if the issue is only because of a shortcut key conflict, you can easily fix that by changing the shortcut key from the addon preferences. With so many addons out there, it's almost impossible to avoid shortcut conflicts. I would love to help you with these issues, so i request you to please reach out to us using our Discord or Blender Market messages, and I will assist you with it. We can even hop on a remote support session if you want. Sorry again for the hassle. Best.
