Yes. Use the Animate Impact button instead of Generate Crater — it bakes the deformation as Blender shape keys you can keyframe and render as animation.

Fully procedural. Every crater is generated from real physics equations (Schmidt-Holsapple, McGetchin, etc.). Change the seed and you get a completely different crater profile, even with identical input parameters.

Any modern GPU works. The addon uses standard compute shaders — tested on NVIDIA (CUDA/OptiX), AMD (OpenCL) and Apple Metal. No special drivers needed beyond the latest update.
