While working with curve modeling, you’ve likely encountered situations where you need to align handles, mirror, or merge control points. However, the current functions available may not fully meet these needs. This add-on is designed to address these challenges, helping you streamline your workflow and enhance your efficiency in curve modeling. (Bézier Curve Modeling)
Features:
1. Real-time mirroring. No need for the mirror modifier. Unlike the current mirror modifier, which requires you to convert the curve object to a mesh before applying it, this add-on allows real-time mirroring without that extra step.
2. Merge points. Sometimes, you may need an intermediate point to act as a merge point. This feature simplifies that process.
3. Handle Adjustment
This includes alignment, equidistant spacing, and symmetry.
- While the snap function can help with alignment, it can be challenging to align handles to specific angles like 45° or 135°. This add-on provides precise control to align handles to axes or specific angles like 45°, 135°, etc.
- Equidistant Adjustment: This ensures the distance between the left and right handles is equal.
- Symmetry Adjustment: This aligns the two handles symmetrically along the X or Y axis relative to the control point.
4. Lock View Rotation. When working with curves using a touchpad, this feature can be especially helpful. It allows you to work without needing to switch to 2D curve mode. With this add-on, you can keep your view fixed while manipulating curves.
