CutLink Studio — 3D Model Cutting & Connectors for Blender
What kind of mesh should I use?
A selected mesh is required, and a closed manifold source is strongly recommended. Applying scale can also help avoid Boolean problems.
Can I export STL files?
Yes. Select the parts and use Export Selected STL. You should then verify the imported dimensions and scale in your slicer.
Can I undo a cut?
Yes, provided Keep hidden source was enabled when the cut was created. Undo Cut restores the preserved original source object.
Can I manually adjust connector placement?
Yes. During the green connector preview, you can resize the connector with the mouse wheel and reposition it using the Move gizmo.
What connector types are included?
Dovetail Wedge, Pin/Cylinder, Snap Clip, Rectangular Key, Hex Pin, and None.
Can I add connectors automatically?
Yes. CutLink Studio provides automatic connector sizing, spacing, clearance, count, and edge-margin controls.
Is CutLink Studio a Blender Extension?
No. It is distributed as a traditional Blender add-on ZIP.
What Blender versions are supported?
CutLink Studio 3.0.2 is compatible with Blender 4.2 and newer. The guide also notes Boolean solver compatibility with Blender 5.1.
