  The reselution of the lightning is suprrisingly low

  Hi. You can easily increase the resolution of the branch or the number of branches as you like:
  1) Branch Details - By default, the resolution or details of branches are set for the camera 10m away from the lightning. However, there are dedicated settings in the Lightning Branch panel: Subdivide Details and Scale.
  2) Number of Branches - You can increase the number of branches by using the Probability option in Lightning Branch settings.

  Curve and surface lightning blend files do not work with Blender 3.5. Would appreciate it if you can update them.

  The lighting gen is very nice and has lots of control and nice way to control. Only issue I find is that, it is crashing the scenes a lot. Having problems rendering an animation.
