Evee Particle Node

Harsh Pandya in Materials and Shading

Who is it for?
Anyone who renders particles in EEVEE and wants shader effects driven by particle data: color over a lifetime, glow by speed, per-particle variation, sparks, dust, embers and similar effects. If you render with Cycles, you don’t need it, because Cycles already supports Particle Info.
How does it work?
You set up the bridge once on a particle system. It turns your particles into instanced geometry that carries each particle’s data into the shader. You keep using Blender’s own Particle Info node in your material, and the bridge swaps it for an EEVEE-compatible version in a private copy of the material.
What is EEVEE Particle Bridge?

It’s a Blender extension that lets EEVEE materials use particle data. Blender’s built-in Particle Info node gives EEVEE nothing to work with, so the bridge supplies the values: age, lifetime, velocity, size, a random value and more. You can then fade, tint or glow each particle individually, in the viewport and in renders.
