Flaxflow - Motion Tracking & Geometry Toolkit

Axel Olsson in VSE

What is the difference between FlaxFlow and FlaxTrax?
FlaxFlow is a motion tracking toolkit that includes a wide range of features, making various parts of the process more efficient. Its capabilities include motion tracking, solving, lens distortion correction, geometry generation, ST maps, and more. In contrast, FlaxTrax is a fully autonomous camera tracker and solver designed specifically to eliminate the tedious aspects of manually tracking your footage. With FlaxTrax, you simply click a button and let the addon handle the tracking automatically. You can also combine the two. For example, if you first use FlaxTrax to automatically track your footage, you can then use FlaxFlow to tackle the rest of the workflow.
Why do I get policy violation warnings when I install the addon?
The policy violation warning is expected and nothing is wrong. It simply indicates that the FlaxFlow addon uses third-party libraries, such as the computer vision library for Python (cv2) and the NumPy library for matrix operations and efficient computing. So don’t worry if you see that warning, everything is working as intended.
