Animated Flocking Birds

The included .blend file is ready to render from. You can achieve the same result as the product images immediately upon download.

The USD file included contains a sequence of 1000 frames. The file only contains a point cloud; no geometry. A sample low-poly bird object is included.

Geometry nodes are used to instance the included bird object on each point.

The USD file has scale and velocity attributes for each point. The video tutorial explains what they are used for. The 'velocity' attribute ensures that birds have correct rotation throughout the animation.
