GanzoFX - Procedural chain rigs and snap-in sockets for any bone
Auron3D | Version 1.2.0 | GPL-3.0-or-later
===============================================================================
Select a bone. Press one button. It slides in, snaps in and stops where it should.
GanzoFX builds two kinds of rigs on top of the bones you already have:
SOCKET A rigid part (magazine, plug, key, blade, lid) that snaps into a
socket. It aims at the socket, gets funnelled onto its axis, slides
in and stops at the seat, however sloppy the animation.
CHAIN A chain of bones (tail, tentacle, hose, cable, neck) that travels
into a channel. It slides in, follows the channel's curve and stops
at the bottom.
Every animation below was captured straight from the Blender viewport. The
orange box or arrow is the control the animator moves; the solid part is what
the rig does with it.

Socket - a magazine into a moving gun. The LED turns green when seated.

Socket - a sloppy hand, a perfect plug-in. The LED is driven by the Insertion output.

Socket with twist - the key turns only once seated, and its turn opens the shackle.

Socket - long travel into a swinging sheath. The host can move freely.

Chain - the push arrow drives the hose through a curved channel; it stops at the bottom.
WHAT YOU GET
Snap-in sockets. Auto-aim, a capture zone that pulls the part onto the
socket axis, a hard stop at the seat, optional twist once seated, and live
Capture and Insertion outputs you can wire to LEDs, doors or shackles.
Seat and Pull Out key a full insertion in two clicks, and the space buttons
switch the control's parent without a jump.
Chain rigs. A master, a tip and as many intermediate controls as you want,
a push arrow and a Depth slider that drive the chain through an editable
channel, and ten animation sliders on one bone: Depth, Squash, Thickness,
Length, Bend Up, Bend Side, Aim Entry, Follow Canal, Rigid Thrust and Entry
Squeeze. The Exact fit keeps the chain inside the channel even in tight
bends.
A demo scene. Build Demo Scene creates the five examples above in a new
scene, with a camera per example. Your scene is not touched.
WHY IT IS DIFFERENT
It is not an auto-rigger and it does not own your armature. It builds on top
of what you already have, and Remove Rig / Remove Socket give the original
bones back untouched.
Rigs keep working without the add-on installed and with Python auto-run
disabled: every driver is a Blender "simple expression". Scale the armature
after building and the rig still fits.
REQUIREMENTS
Blender 4.2 LTS or newer (tested on 4.2, 4.5, 5.1 and 5.2 LTS), on Windows,
macOS and Linux. No dependencies, no internet access, no telemetry, no online
licensing. The full GPL text ships with the add-on.
