GN Rounded Bevel

GN Rounded Bevel is a powerful modifier based on Geometry Nodes.
- It is totally procedural. It means you can use any font, shapes, or even flat planes.
What are the advantages?
Well, besides perfect rounded bevels with almost one click.

The modifier offers a lot of features that go from basic and usual text functions like extrude, step levels, and resolution, to many cool extra features like...
- GN Grid. It allows you to use additional deforming modifiers like Simple Deform or Lattice without generating bad topology, especially on the front faces of the text. In this mode, you can also set a bump height for the front of the text and choose between profiles and settings that allow you to customize it as you want.
- You can set up the amount of roundness for sharp corners or for the text in general, and still go further with the Smooth Geometry option to smooth the geometry as if it were a flat metaball.
- A uniform triangulate mesh option for the front faces if you prefer performance over perfect topology, which is useful in the case of large text sentences.
- You can disable the Fill and use only the strokes of the text, but...
- The modifier also has an Extra Stroke that has its own array and other settings. You can use it as Neon Lights (which is just an idea).
- Background fill is an extra setting that gives you the final touch that may be useful for your motion graphic design.
- Stroke and Background Fill have their own settings like offset, radius, depth, step levels, resolution, and more.
- You can set different materials for the front, back, sides, stroke, and background fill, or just enable one general material.
- There are useful extra settings like Remove Counters, which removes those text holes for the background fill. In this section, you choose between working with everything or only the stroke, only the background fill, etc., or even rotating the text to work better with deformation modifiers.
