Golestan weaves photorealistic hand-knotted Persian carpets inside Blender. Pick a weaving city or tribe, from a Tabriz or Kashan medallion carpet and a silk Qom prayer rug to a tribal Heriz, a Qashqai, a Baluch or a naive Gabbeh with its animals, and the addon draws the whole design knot by knot, then weaves it into a carpet with real pile, flat-woven kilim ends and a knotted fringe.

Every carpet is drawn by the addon, never a tiled photo. Medallions with pendants, corner spandrels, Herati, Shah Abbasi and scrolling-vine fields, main borders with guard stripes, prayer arches, vase and tree-of-life designs, garden panels and Gabbeh figures follow the real carpets of each city. Knot density sets how fine the drawing steps, abrash adds the colour bands of hand-dyed yarn lots, and a hand-drawn slider gives village rugs their charming irregularity.

The look is built for close-ups. Each knot is a tuft of wool or silk with its own normal, roughness and ambient occlusion, silk gets an anisotropic sheen, and the pile slopes down into the flat-woven ends. Age it with one click from New to Used, Antique or Worn Out: traffic lanes wear down to the bare foundation, colours fade in the sun, iron-dyed outlines corrode and grime settles in.
