Green Plant - Artifical Plant Generator

I get errors from other add-ons when Blender starts.
Messages about other add-ons (for example No module named 'bgl') come from add-ons that are not yet updated for your Blender version. They do not affect Green Plant.
Do I need the add-on to render a scene on another computer or a render farm?
The plant data are stored in your .blend file. The node tree and the plants are saved with the file, so it renders without the add-on.
Can I apply the modifier and edit the mesh?
Yes. Applying the Geometry Nodes modifier turns the plant into a normal mesh. After that the sliders no longer work for that object.
Can I make the plants look less identical?
Use the Random sliders next to every setting, the colour randomness and a different Seed. With a few plants in the mix, a large planter looks natural.
What is the difference between Bush and Mini Bush?
They are the same plants. Mini Bush is the 25 cm size and Bush the 45 cm size.
Can I mix different plants in one planter?
Yes, up to 10 plants per array, from any category, each with its own share.
My viewport is slow with many plants.
Switch the plants to Low or Dummy (or use All: Dummy). Renders still use full geometry. For large scenes also turn on Low-Poly Far From Camera (Render).
Leaves go through my pot. What can I do?
Turn on Keep Out Of Pot and set Pot Wall Thickness to the wall of your pot. Fit To Pot / Planter sets both for you. The add-on only knows its own pot shape (round pot or planter box), so leaves can still cut through other objects in the scene.
Can I use my own pots and planters?
Yes. Select the plant, Shift-select your pot or planter so that the plant stays active, and click Fit To Pot / Planter. The plants are placed on the soil level and fill the opening.
Why is the download so big?
Every plant has full 2K textures for the front and the back of its leaves (colour, normal, displacement, opacity, specular). They are not compressed or downscaled.
Does it work in Cycles and EEVEE?
The add-on was tested with Cycles. The plants are ordinary meshes and materials.
Which Blender versions are supported?
Blender 4.2 and newer. The add-on was tested in Blender 4.5 and 5.2.
