  It can overwhelm you with all the options and deep menus with a plethora of options, but there is quite good documentation, and trying it out is actually a lot of fun as you see results instantly. Not much more to wish for, other than being able to change street signs from the American default to a European design would be great - but that might just be possible with an even deeper dive into it :)

  I'm on a MacBook Pro M3 Max, 32 GB RAM, running macOS Tahoe 26.1, and iCity works PERFECTLY FINE on my computer. I was really hesitant to buy it at first because I had read some negative reviews from Mac users, but it actually runs without any issues on my laptop, which isn't even the newest or the most powerful. So if you're a Mac user with specs at least similar to mine, it should work for you as well. And, good surprise, it's surprisingly fast! Even in FULL render mode I can easily move around the city. I recommend using version 1.6.3, which is very stable and creates very light files. Overall, I'm super happy with it!

  I couldn't be happier. Unlike the other reviews, I've had no issues whatsoever.

  - While using the default scene on start, tried everything conceivable, and smooth as butter. Edit/Light Mode/Viewport Solid + Rendered... smooth.
  - I extruded a 2000m x 2000m city layout while in light mode + Viewport Solid, smooth.
  - I did the same thing with light mode disabled + Viewport Rendered still at 2000m x 2000m city... within 5-10 seconds the city was generated and once generated, could pan pretty smooth considering the complexity.
  - Appears to use approx. 13GB of vram out of 24GB while doing the above.
  - Seems like generation is using CPU whereas rendering is GPU. I don't know the technicalities, but not sure why GPU is only used in Rendered (viewport) and not "solid".

  Go check out his Youtube channel and watch the video "ICity 1.0.0 Beta | How to use?" on how to use. It's an older video, but good info and how to use.

  My specs below, not that great, but wayyyy better performance than what previous reviews indicate:

  I got this when it came out and enjoyed it for what it was.

  Fantastic system for architecture, you need a decent pc but the proxy mode makes it very fast

  Amazing! Saves hours of time and the details are very good, that too with good performance optimization even on low-spec computer it renders very fast for the quality it provides.

  Great layout and design. This could be a game changer within a few updates. If anyone knows how to conver to live 3D mesh, please let me know! Reached out to Dev but don't want to boggle him down with too many questions. If anyone can answer please help. Thanks.

  I've been looking for a city generator for ages - I am a hobbyist and just like to show things together quickly so i can produce results and work on the creative side of things. This addon allows me to do that!! looks great both far away and up close. Road textures especially i really like.
  It is not perfect... but no add on is... and this is only 1.0. Really looking forward to sticking close to this addon as it continues to grow and develop. If you need a city this comes recommended.
