A fully rigged and poseable model of an IKEA "Tertial" desk lamp. Detailed, textured, and suitable for close-ups. Comes with a 3000K LED bulb and a North American power cable, which you can of course feel free to remove or switch out as needed. The power cable is a Bézier curve and can easily be edited to position it however you see fit.

I'm pretty sure I've had my own Tertial lamp for at least... twenty years? It's still doing just fine. It was, as best as I can tell, quite happy to pose for this model. (It's hard not to anthropomorphize a good lamp, isn't it? Spike Jonze actually made an IKEA commercial playing on that very fact.) The mechanical linkage that allows it to move turns out to be both simple to understand and complex to model, as all good designs tend to be. I've constrained the armature to limit the range to something similar to the real world lamp, though obviously it's still possible to pose this one in some impossible positions.

All renders done in Cycles. No cameras, lighting, or HDRI are included other than the light bulb in the lamp itself.
