    This is an excellent addon that does EXACTLY what i needed it to do... trace and image and cut it out of geometry. My use of it is even easier than the demo video since you can add it onto an object as a geo-node modifier and pop the same image into the material editor. I've turned 24 2d paintings of creatures into 2.5d animations in no time at all thanks to this addon!
