Does this addon use Boolean operations?
No. All detection and visualization is done using GPU overlays only. Your mesh is never modified.
Why is the heatmap slow with many objects?
Reduce the Face Limit value in the Proximity Check panel, or make IC_ProximityBox smaller to cover less area.
Why does the proximity check show inaccurate results on Boolean holes?
Boolean hole interiors have complex topology. For better accuracy, increase the subdivision level on both geometries.
Can I use this for non-3D-print workflows?
Yes. The interference and proximity detection works for any mesh-to-mesh clearance verification in Blender.
