Iris: Addon for Blender
Can I export renders as PDF?
Yes! Workflow: (1) Set format to JPEG, (2) Batch Render All Slides, (3) Click "Export to PDF". Creates a professional PDF presentation from your rendered slides.
Can I use this for batch rendering multiple scenes?
Yes! Iris is perfect for batch rendering. Create multiple slides (different angles, lighting setups, etc.), then click "Batch Render All Slides" to automatically render all of them sequentially.
Can I reuse slides across projects?
Yes! Each slide's content is stored in a Blender collection. Use Blender's Append or Link features (File > Append) to copy slide collections between .blend files.
Can I edit slides after creating them?
Absolutely! Click any slide in the list to switch to it and edit everything - move objects, change text, adjust lighting, modify camera position, change background color, etc.
Can I customize the camera for each slide?
Yes! Each slide automatically gets its own dedicated camera. Position, rotate, change focal length, switch between orthographic/perspective - full camera control per slide.
Can I animate objects in my slides?
Yes! Add any animated objects to your slides. They display at the current timeline frame. You can manually control the timeline or animate objects as needed.
Can I use my own 3D models in slides?
Absolutely! Import any 3D model (.fbx, .obj, .glb, etc.) and add it to your slides using Blender's import tools. Iris works with all Blender objects.
