KHAOS Blender Add-on Documentation

Overview
KHAOS is an add-on for Blender designed for creating realistic explosions and destruction effects. The plugin is available in two versions:

• KHAOS Legacy: Compatible with Blender versions 2.77 through 4.2.
• KHAOS Detonator: A new version of KHAOS, compatible with Blender 4.0 through 4.2.

Installation Guide

1. Blender 4.1 and 4.2

   • Install the following two files:
     • "KhaosLegacy4_1_singlepy_v11.zip"
     • "KhaosDetonatorInstall_B4_1.zip"
   • Additionally, for Blender 4.2, you must install Cell Fracture separately by downloading it from Cell Fracture Add-on.

2. Blender 3.4 to 3.9

   • Install the file:
     • "khaos3_4_singlepy_wdestoolsparticles_v11.zip"

3. Blender 3.1 to 3.3

   • Install the file:
     • "khaos3_1_install_wdestoolsparticles_v10.zip"

4. Blender 3.0

   • Install the file:
     • "khaos3_0_install_wdestoolsparticles_v9.zip"

5. Blender 2.93

   • Install the file:
     • "khaos2_93_install_wdestooksparticles_v6.zip"

6. Blender 2.79

   • Install the file:
     • "Khaos_V1_3_Blender2_79_Install.zip"

7. Blender 2.8

   • Install the file:
     • "khaosinstall2_8beta.zip"

8. Blender 2.83

   • Install the file:
     • "khaosfireplumeinstall2_83mantaflow.zip"

9. Blender 2.92

   • Install the file:
     • "khaosinstall2_92mantaflowfireplume.zip"

KHAOS Fire Shader Installation (Optional)
If you plan on using the KHAOS fire shader separately, install the following file:

• "installfireshaderkhaos.zip"

Important Notes:

• All ZIP files should be installed directly as ZIP files. Do not extract the contents. Install them as they are shown in the installation video:

• For Blender 4.2 users: Make sure to install Cell Fracture from the following link for everything to work correctly:
  Cell Fracture Add-on
