  Highly recommend this addon for those wanting a simple way to create explosions in Blender. It has apparently has been around for a long time and the new version is really amazing. The old version works well too just a little bit more of a linear workflow. The emitters in the new one are freaking CRAZY POWERFUL to visualize your explosion before you simulate anything.

  Awesome plugin - a relief after learning to setup cell fracture manually in blender,
  After following the initial tutorial,
  noticed a couple of things related to errors after removing debris systems and trying to add new ones,
  when removing the old system, object related to the particle system remain in the outliner, delete these as well manually, then select the object to add the new system to and make sure one is the active object in the selection,
  no python errors when adding a new system

  all the error i got initially where either due to leftover objects from the previous system, or faulty selection of the new fractured objects (selecting the collision object or ground plane by mistake or not having an active object in the selection)

  Then noticed the base objects for the debris system rock where showing up in the render as big objects in the center of the scene, so I moved them aside to keep them out of frame

  I had a couple problems at first due to user error, but the support team / person was quick to straighten me out, and I am currently having no problems on 3.1. This is a really awesome addon, and very flexible. I anticipate making some nice renders with it.

  Reaaallyyy love this add-on! Awesome for generating explosions and any destruction needs in Blender! It takes some practice to get what you want but way less time than it would normally take in Blender by itself.

  Yeah absolutely rocks! As a amateur film maker with high standards i love it. Spent the evening redoing all the explosion shots from my latest project. Money very well spent.
