La Candelaria Pro - Colonial Streets & Architecture

Cgi Lab in Modeling

Build a street. Keep your art direction.

La Candelaria Pro is a procedural architecture and scene-building addon inspired by Colombian colonial streets. Start with a house, extend it into a row, connect the pavement and direct the character of each façade.

When the layout changes, use Update Block to rebuild compatible connections and move the managed lighting without starting the scene again.

Shape the architecture

  • Adjust façade bays, floors and gateway position with modular proportions.
  • Choose balconies, stone arcades, courtyards and a complete L-shaped wing for level ground.
  • Control gateway closure, optional bar interior and outdoor tables independently.
  • Apply seven style presets by architecture, materials and decoration, or change only the part you need.

Connect the street

  • Repeat and arrange independently editable houses.
  • Fill compatible gaps in the sidewalk, curb and roadway.
  • Connect outside or level inside corners at 90°, and create T-junctions.
  • Use supported slope configurations with alignment and height diagnostics. Straight streets require a matching grade; T-junction slopes belong to the branch.

Give each house its own history

  • Materials with History: Restored, Lived-in and Aged conditions, with separate dampness, wear and pattern controls.
  • Roof Tile History: firing variation, channel staining and edge-wear shading.
  • Artisan Woodwork: oriented grain and subtle variation in existing bevels, joints and piece tones.
  • Geraniums and ferns with detailed full-quality foliage, plus seeded balcony distribution.

The surface-history layers add no polygons. Artisan woodwork subtly adjusts existing geometry; it does not add large cracks, carvings or broken boards.

Light the scene

Distribute public lights along compatible façades. Set power, approximate colour temperature, radius and on/off state per façade. Update positions with saved settings, or deliberately apply new lighting without changing the layout.

Sunny day, Andean sunset, Páramo sky and Noche de Velitas provide four procedural atmosphere presets. Use the addon camera rig or keep your own cameras. Public lights remain independently configurable.

Work light, render full detail

Lightweight Preview simplifies viewport geometry and bypasses fine finish detail during layout work. The addon's render and Create Mesh Copy routes retain full detail. A mesh copy is an independent snapshot; returning to the generator preserves the procedural house and hides the copy.

In the supplied three-house example (Floors = 3), viewport face count changes from 523,452 to 252,600, approximately 51.7% fewer faces. This is an example-specific geometry measurement, not an FPS or render-time guarantee.

Included with your download

  • The addon installer and bundled modular library: 59 public assets, with 14 module shortcuts in the panel.
  • Six editable showcase scenes: a blue-hour street and café, atmosphere variations, a 90° corner, a T-junction, a residential row and a directed night block.
  • An 18-page English user manual.
  • Six short English tutorials in a 12-page workbook, plus three editable practice scenes.
  • English and Spanish interface text, following Blender's language settings.

Requirements and practical scope

Requires Blender 5.2 LTS. The documented verification environment is Windows with Blender 5.2.1 LTS. Showcase scenes were reopened and rendered with Cycles CPU. Included resources are local; the supplied scenes require no external texture download or third-party account.

The L-wing and inside corners require level ground. Street tools connect supported modular layouts; they do not automatically trace arbitrary terrain, roads or parcel networks. Lightweight Preview is a manual per-house setting, not a distance-based game LOD system.

Creating a mesh copy does not export FBX or automatically convert procedural shaders for another engine. Materials may need baking or adaptation for external pipelines. Procedural worlds are not photographic HDRIs or weather simulations.

Licensing

The Python addon code is licensed under GNU GPLv3. The bundled non-code library, models, materials, scenes and documentation use the Superhive Standard Royalty Free License. The downloads include separate notices defining those scopes.

About the demonstration

The short showcase and animated examples use real addon render states edited into an explanatory sequence. It is not a continuous screen recording or a speed benchmark. The supplied editable scenes let you explore the results directly.
