Quick start
Pick a state plate, type your number, and you have a finished plate in under a minute.
- Open
US_LicensePlates_v1_1.blend or add into tour asset library path. - Select a state plate in
Plates_Collection_US(or duplicate one with Shift+D). - In Properties → Modifiers → GeometryNodes, type your number into WRITING.
- Move the Bend angle slider to fit the bumper (about 0.09 rad = 5° is a typical gentle curve).
- Optional: turn on Plastic Frame, Screws or Flies, then place the plate on your car and render.
To use the plate on another file, append the plate object (File → Append → Object). The node group and materials come with it.
Modifier reference
The modifier has six panels; plate size, hole layout and header layout are fixed to the US standard, so only these inputs are exposed.
