Do I need to build the lighting nodes manually?
No. Adding a preset creates its configured lighting setup for you.
What is the difference between the installation package and the complete package?
The installation package contains the add-on and its required assets. The complete package also includes supplementary files such as documentation and demonstration scenes. Both provide the same core lighting collection.
Will a preset look exactly like the preview in my scene?
The same mask can look different depending on your geometry, materials, light placement, exposure and ambient lighting. Adjust the light to suit your scene.
Do angled window masks create actual side lighting?
They create an angled projected pattern. To change the physical direction of illumination and cast shadows, reposition the light.
Can I use several presets in one scene?
Yes. Add multiple lights and adjust them individually to build your lighting setup.
Can I change the light’s color?
Yes. Use a solid tint or a gradient mapped horizontally, vertically or by mask brightness.
Can I make the shadows sharper or softer?
Yes. Reduce Radius for sharper edges or increase it for softer shadows.
Can I adjust a preset after adding it?
Yes. Move and rotate the light, then adjust its power, coverage, radius and color.
Are the tree and cloud shadows animated?
No. The current release contains static masks. Animated textures and video loops are not included.
Which Blender version and render engine should I use?
Use Blender 5.2 LTS with Cycles. Equivalent results in Eevee are not guaranteed.
Does the product include only the 40 examples shown on the product page?
No. Those 40 images are selected examples. The full collection includes all 240 masks and 8 studio setups.
