Yes. It is useful for guitar lesson videos, note demonstrations, MIDI breakdowns, and educational fretboard animations inside Blender.
What tuning does it use by default?
The default tuning is standard 6-string guitar tuning: E2, A2, D3, G3, B3, and E4.
Can the same note appear in more than one place on the fretboard?
Yes. On a guitar, the same pitch can often be played on different strings and frets. This is normal guitar behavior, and the add-on is designed to visualize MIDI notes on a guitar fretboard layout.
Does this add-on detect notes from audio files like MP3 or WAV?
No. This add-on is designed for MIDI note data. It does not automatically detect notes from normal audio files such as MP3 or WAV.
