Loop Noise Generator V1.6.6
What Blender versions are supported?
Blender 3.0 and newer, including Blender 4.x.
How do I install the addon?
Download the ZIP, go to Edit > Preferences > Add-ons > Install, select the ZIP file, and enable "Loop Noise Generator V1.5". The panel appears in View3D Sidebar (N key) > LoopNoise tab.
Why is my object/bone not moving?
Check that: 1) A channel is enabled (button should be highlighted), 2) Mute is not active (eye icon), 3) Section mute is not active, 4) For bones - armature has an active action.
How do I make the loop seamless?
Increase the Transition Frames value in Global Settings. Try different Easing types like Smoothstep or Smootherstep. Keep Speed values reasonable.
What is Dynamic Chain Mode?
DCM automatically applies noise from a parent bone to all its descendants with progressive time offset. Perfect for tails, tentacles, chains. Enable it on the root bone, then adjust Chain Offset Delay.
Can I use this with multiple objects/bones at once?
Yes! Select multiple targets and edit them simultaneously. Red indicators show when values differ. Use modifier keys for randomization: Click (individual), Shift+Click (synced), Shift+Ctrl+Click (copy from active).
Rotation channels are disabled on my bone?
Your bone is using Quaternion rotation mode. Click the "Convert to Euler" button in the warning message to enable rotation noise. This preserves existing animation.
My settings disappeared after reopening the file?
Settings are saved per-action. Make sure you're on the correct action. Use the Preset system to save configurations you want to reuse.
How do I bake the animation to keyframes?
Click "Bake" for single target, or "Bake Armature" to bake all bones with noise. Baking converts drivers to keyframes and resets LoopNoise settings.
