Mediterranean Villa – Procedural Materials & Scene

Spatial Dialects in Buildings

Architecture speaks in dialects

Every region builds with what it has, and over centuries that becomes a language of its own. Along the Mediterranean, that language is thick stucco walls, limewashed plaster, terracotta underfoot and clay tiles overhead, timber beams and wrought iron. No two walls are quite the same, and that irregularity is exactly what makes these buildings feel real.

This pack translates that dialect into Blender. Every material is fully procedural, built as a node group rather than a baked texture, so tiles vary tile by tile, plaster varies wall by wall, and nothing repeats in an obvious pattern. Color, wear and surface detail stay adjustable directly in the Shader Editor.

The materials were not made in isolation. They were developed for, and tested on, a complete Mediterranean villa, which is included in the largest version of this pack.

Choose your version

  • Starter Materials ($12) – 3 procedural material generators with 9 presets.
  • Material Library ($29) – all 8 generators with 24 presets.
  • Material Lab ($49) – the full library, plus a furnished foyer scene with its own camera, lighting and compositing, and a hero render.
  • Complete Villa ($149) – everything above, plus the complete villa: 854 objects, 6 render-ready scenes, all props including an outdoor dining table, and 6 hero renders.

Every version includes everything in the versions before it.

The materials

Eight generators cover the core material vocabulary of vernacular Mediterranean building. Each comes with three presets as a starting point.

  1. Terracotta Floor Tiles – Clean, Warm, Patio (also in Starter)
  2. Limewash Plaster – Clean, Warm, Aged (also in Starter)
  3. Aged Structural Wood – Clean, Aged, Decayed (also in Starter)
  4. Wrought Iron – Light, Aged, Rusted
  5. Rustic Pottery Clay – Clean, Aged, Chalked
  6. Rustic Wooden Floor Planks – New, Rustic, Aged
  7. Exterior Stucco Plaster – Clean, Warm, Aged
  8. Terracotta Roof Tiles – Clean, Aged, Dirty

The scenes

Material Lab – the foyer. A furnished foyer with a bench, a terracotta vase and a curtain, where the materials cover a real floor, real walls, real ceiling beams and doors under real lighting instead of on a shaderball. The foyer has its own camera, world, lighting rig and compositing setup, with no dependencies on any other file. Use it as a test room to judge and tune materials before you bring them into your own project.

Complete Villa – the full building. The villa follows the same vernacular logic inside and out: stucco walls, terracotta floors, clay roof tiles, timber beam ceilings and wrought iron balustrades, with interior rooms dressed in curtains, a bench and terracotta vases, and an outdoor dining table extending the same language outside. Six scenes are set up and ready to render: Hal, Living Room, Kitchen, Foyer, Axonometric and Back Elevation.

The lighting is organised per scene. Each scene switches only its own lights on through collection visibility, so nothing unnecessary is evaluated at render time. Interior and exterior scenes use separate world settings, so the facade views read in a different light and time of day than the rooms inside.
