Model Rush is a modeling game you play inside Blender.
Practice is the fastest way to get better at modeling, but a tutorial never tells you how you did. Model Rush does. You see a target shape, rebuild it in the viewport with Blender's own tools, and the game scores how close you got, and how fast.
How it works
- Pick a level. The target appears as a light-blue ghost, with its sizes in the sidebar.
- Build a copy on the white square with any tools you like: Edit Mode, modifiers, several objects.
- Submit before the timer runs out. You get a match %, stars and points, plus a heatmap that shows exactly where your build is off.
What's inside
- 38 levels in 5 chapters, from simple blockouts to Edit Mode, the modifier stack, blueprint-only levels and complex final models you see for only 10 to 30 seconds.
- Rule levels that build good habits: stay within a face budget, build from one object, use a Mirror modifier, or race with 60% of the usual time.
- Fair, readable scoring: shape counts 60%, size 20% and topology 20%. Stars at 70, 85 and 95%, a time bonus of up to 1.5× for fast and accurate builds, and a par medal for 3 stars within par time.
- Feedback that teaches: a heatmap, with a colorblind-friendly palette, and your two biggest fixes in plain words, such as "Height is 12% too tall".
- Help when you're stuck: after 3 failed attempts, How it's built shows the exact steps in a large picture-by-picture replay you step through at your own pace.
- Daily challenge: one new shape every day, the same for every player, with a streak to keep.
- Challenge codes: copy a short code with your score, and friends play the same shape to beat it.
- Prestige: finish the campaign and start again with all-new models at the same difficulty, 76 models in total.
- Fully inside Blender: no internet connection and no extra files needed. Sound effects are generated live, and your progress saves automatically.
