Modular Tigermen Characters Male and Female
Is this a rigged 3D character?
Yes. Both the male and female Tigermen are fully rigged in Blender using Auto-Rig Pro (ARP) to match the Unreal Engine 5 Epic Skeleton (Manny/Quinn). The rig includes additional bones for the tail. The separated head meshes also contain 52 ARKit shapekeys for advanced facial animation.
Is it game-ready?
Yes. The package includes a .uproject file featuring a showcase map with pre-configured physics and materials. Because the rig matches the UE5 Epic Skeleton, the characters are natively compatible out of the box with any animations built for the standard Manny or Quinn mannequins.
Do I have access to the source files?
Yes. The resource-packed Blender .blend files for both characters are included. I have also provided the master mesh specifically to help you transfer weights to your own custom clothing. Please note that you will need the Auto-Rig Pro addon in Blender to fully utilize the rigging workflow for custom apparel.
How does the modular armor system work?
The characters are split into 8 modular parts (Head, Body, Tail, Torso Armor, Undershirt and Pants, Gauntlets, and Boots). The intricate plate armor uses unique, anatomically morphed meshes for male and female variants, but both share a single highly optimized texture set to maximize memory efficiency.
Are these characters suitable for VTubing or real-time performance capture?
Yes. Because the head meshes include the complete set of 52 ARKit shapekeys (blendshapes), they are fully compatible with facial motion capture tools like the Unreal Live Link Face app via an iOS device.
Does the tail require manual animation?
No. The tail is driven by a custom physics asset included in the Unreal Engine project. It is pre-configured with optimal mass, angular limits, and spring motors to simulate natural sway automatically during standard locomotion.
Can I customize the colors of the skin and armor in engine?
Yes. The materials are built with channel-packed RGB masks. This allows you to independently apply custom hex color tinting to the skin, eyes, and specific sections of the plate armor dynamically within Unreal Engine using Material Instances.
How does the modular assembly work in Unreal Engine?
The characters utilize a modular Blueprint system. The provided Blueprints use a Construction Script alongside the Set Leader Pose Component, allowing you to instantly snap together different heads, bodies, tails, and armor parts directly in the viewport while ensuring perfect animation synchronization.
