  I couldn't find a better moss anywhere except in this addon.

  I like pretty much this addon . I bought it for the biomes to be honest . I may never use it out of Geoscatter addon because of my kind of needs . That said it does what it's supposed to do. I am also able to use the geoscatter turbulence and smart fake wind options . It fits my other projects.

  I like VERY MUCH creators that give biomes and I suggest it to others . I'm really a fan for life of Geoscatter . It's probably the most useful addon I got and after that , biomes are of real nice quality.

  I saw some other companies or creators doing addons made with Kit Ops and ... I didn't like the quality of the menus and found it inferior to Geoscatter for my needs. Some addons makes us scatter displacement and so it cannot be customized like objects , even after applying the scatter as mesh . It stays a bunch of displacement things. It's ok for medium to far distance background but creators like me are searching for high end things . Biomes gives us the quality we need and with a 4070 ti oc ... it can deliver way enough to sustain better quality mesh and texture . I render biomes very quick personnally and the quality is always there.

  This biome is super nice and my next choice will be their TRASH ASSET that looks like the very best on the market. The only reason I didn't buy yet this one and Crystal Kit is that I'm a freelancer retired from work that does autistic art.... with budgets under poverty level. I live in a ... shack full of moisture as there is an humanity crisis here with lack of appartments. Still in my situation , when I find a so nice addon like Moss Biome for 20$ US ( around 27 CAD ) , I'm so happy !! I never could do these super nice art pieces without Blendermarket and addon geeks.

  Sincerely , yes , it's 100$ US for Geoscatter but ... come on , for all what you can find after at ... super friendly prices , it's fair . I prefer that than having to watch all Chipp's Kit Ops videos and buy Kit Ops 1 , then Kit Ops 2 , then Kit Ops 3 .. .. then ... Simple Scifi ... Simple Scifi Flex ... etc etc . Come on , Geoscatter never changed all the way to do , I don't have 2-3-4 addons to handle scifi , regular biome etc. It's simple , it's professionnal , it's all we need and after that , biomes are awesome.

  I would never regret Geoscatter and all the fantastic biomes I found to have fun . I can now create anything including a spatial station , a maya village or .. a car scene in the desert , cities etc. I sculpt characters in Adobe Medium and I need pro scenes to make them " live " so ... Geoscatter and biome addons was the solution for me , it is still the best at my opinion in 2024.

  Again , I dislike people doing addons made to become ... a new complete system in Blender for wich we won't use 90% of options . I don't want a spawning addon that begins to handle the way my viewport works. I may prefer to separate with 2 addons so I can activate or deactivate each one on need. More clean memory in the PC , less ressources pumped for nothing etc etc.

  I'm sometimes very sad to see some addons creators wants to .... make people addict about all their ideas and their addons begins to feel like a dog that wants to go pee in every direction at the same time. All is sometimes half finished but the guy adds all sort of features to push the marketing quicker. You won't ever feel this with Geoscat and biomes creators.

  You need biomes ? There is a website , you go there or directly on Blendermarket , you type biomes and the list appear. There is no special addon more you will have to guy to do sci-fi scatter or so ... no constant updates that ruins the experience and are just done to make more money . Geoscatter won't disapear tomorrow , I hope and all these biomes must grow. We need biomes of all sort of things like ocean life biomes etc . :)

  Sincerely for 20$ , all the geoscatters should get it. Other options are nice for proximity shots on moss but for a lot of situations, we need to scatter big spaces , not just an emotional feeling on a branch or a rock looked from proximity. You can still do proximity with Moss Biome but it's mostly usefull for medium to large scale scenes containing a lot of moss so even if you got Mossify which is awesome too and will get animation soon available in days to come , you will probably need this addon too because sometimes , it's way more practical to use biomes than an independant new system only for moss. Mossify is a must , a real big must but Moss Biome stays a thing to buy . That's my opinion. Mossify is maybe a bit more ... fantastic and scifi axed in some sections ... it's another use and both are essential.
