  Dude, MotionGen is a game changer. Drop a video, get a sick animation in Blender no suit, no cloud, no paying every month. And the devs? Absolute legends. I hit a snag and they replied in like two hours with super clear help. If you do mocap stuff, just grab it, you won't regret it. thanks to dev Omid Ghotbi that help me a lot.   MotionGen is fantastic, video to animation in seconds, no suit or subscription or markers. Support was amazing too, the dev helped me fix a setup issue within 10 minutes. Highly recommend for anyone wanting easy, private mocap more accurate than UE5 and Cascadeur as i tested both against MotionGen.

  lets say it i only joined the Superhive to buy this addon as developers do not offer other option. and as soon as i used it i was surprise by the quality and accuracy of it. i wish to see more from the developers and special thanks for great support they provide.

  Been using MotionGen for a few weeks now and I'm really impressed. It turns any video into smooth character animations in Blender in seconds no suit, no monthly fees, no cloud uploads. Everything runs locally after a one time activation, so it's fast and private. What really surprised me was the support. I had a small issue during setup and the developer got back to me within hours with clear steps to fix it. Super responsive and actually helpful, which is rare these days. If you're an indie dev or freelancer wanting pro mocap without the headache, this is totally worth it.
  The only issue i found was it support only one character at the time. i hope that support multi actor in future.

  I've been using MotionGen for a couple days now and waited to be sure it is working as it should and it's honestly awesome. You just drop in a video of someone moving, and it turns into a clean character animation in Blender, no mocap suit, no cloud fees, no subscription. It runs locally after a one-time activation, so my data stays private. The setup was automatic, retargeting to Rigify or Mixamo takes seconds, and the animations come out smooth but still editable. The Lite version let me test it for free, and the Pro tier is a steal for indies. If you want pro level mocap without the usual headache or cost, this addon is a no brainer.
  The only down side was the addon needed good internet connection to download and install the engine so i had to do that multiple times as i have not the best connection and it is interrupt then after that it was easy to use and i was blown up by the output.
  The support was so kind, responsive and even offer install service by support team, they respond in only 2 minutes from my message, seriously i have never seen such amazing support at least on blender market.
  Highly recommended.

  An excellent tool for quickly streaming video and getting great results without having to upload your recordings to a server. The quality is essentially the best possible on local hardware; I definitely recommend it.

  I have a lot of experience with motion capture; I have high standards since I have been using an Xsens suit for years. And I am extremely impressed by this addon. Thrilled, in fact. Here is what's great about it:

  PROS
  1. The quality is exceptionally high for video sourced mocap.
  2. The one time payment is very affordable...VERY. No tokens!
  3. The option to buy a license for unlimited video length is a big deal.
  4. It runs locally!
  5. It runs inside blender!
  6. Retargetting to all your favorite rigs is included and works very fast.
  NOTE: the fact that you don't need to import and retarget manually saves SO MUCH time.
  7. The dev is very kind and helpful.
  8. Seriously, he's a great guy.

  CONS
  1. Only only actor at a time.
  2. No hand and face tracking....YET. There is a robust roadmap for future development.
  3. There is some cleanup needed (this ain't an Xsens, afterall, but it's also not $10k). And btw, it's definitely less cleanup than I was expecting.

  If you've been waiting for a good, affordable mocap solution, wait no longer, my friend.
