Multicam
2. Why are my UNV cameras rebuilt every time I change a setting?
UNV MultiCam uses realtime rebuilding to ensure the camera rig always stays accurate.
When you change placement settings—such as camera count, radius, curve object, or Look At target—the add‑on deletes all existing UNV cameras and recreates them with the updated parameters.
This keeps the system non‑destructive and guarantees consistent spacing, orientation, and offsets.
1. Why can’t I insert keyframes by right‑clicking the offset sliders?
Blender does not support right‑click keyframing on custom UI properties created through Python. Because the per‑camera offset values are custom properties, the Insert Keyframe option will not appear or will not work.
To animate camera offsets, use the standard Blender shortcut:
Adjust the offset values
Press I in the 3D Viewport
Insert a keyframe for Location, Rotation, or LocRot
This correctly animates the camera’s transform over time.
