Can I undo a repair after restarting Blender?
Yes. Supported MCP Doctor repairs preserve recovery information so Undo can remain available after restarting Blender.
What happens if I remove an MCP Extension but an old add-on is still installed?
This is one of the problems MCP Doctor is designed to detect. It can identify legacy MCP add-ons that remain installed or enabled after an Extension was removed and offer an appropriate backup-first repair.
Does MCP Doctor work with every Blender MCP?
MCP Doctor can detect many common Blender MCP installation and configuration patterns, including unknown or future installations when enough information is available. However, every third-party MCP has its own Blender version and dependency requirements. MCP Doctor cannot make an incompatible MCP run on an unsupported Blender version.
Will MCP Doctor delete my MCP add-ons?
No. Supported repairs are designed to be reversible. Conflicting add-ons may be disabled and duplicate legacy installations may be moved to quarantine instead of being permanently deleted. A backup is created before supported repairs.
