Why are there so many files ? What is it all about ?

"On The Rocks" has splitted over the time into a primary main addon (OTR) and a secondary asset addon (OTRA).

OTR offers a lot of tools, materials and features to create stone-like objects from scratch or using your mesh-objects. You can apply tools to your objects, draw freehand or create from scratch.

OTRA offers a simple and quick way, as an addon in the same N-Panel section as the main addon, to add low and high poly stone-assets to your scene. OTRA is splitted into the addon itself and a pack-file.

How to I install the asset pack addon ?
  • Download the asset pack files (addon and pack)
  • Drag and drop the "addon"-file as ZIP-file directly to Blender or install the ZIP-file via the Settings-Dialog under "Get Extensions / Add-ons".
  • Unzip the pack-file somehwere on you computer and choose the directory in Blender in the addon, so that the addon can find the assets.
