Open Frame Robot

David Agababyan in Sci-Fi

One static robot model, 18 mesh objects and 3 PBR materials. Height 1.926084 m; width 0.636718 m; depth 0.397564 m. Blender coordinates: X width, Y depth, Z up; front -Y; pivot at ground origin. 20,912 evaluated triangles. Editable source: 9,902 quads and 1,108 triangles (11,010 authored faces), 10,468 authored vertices. Triangulation modifiers preserve export diagonals.

Nine original PNG maps: five 4096×4096 body maps (BaseColor, Metallic, Roughness, tangent Normal and Emission) and four 2048×2048 helmet maps (BaseColor, Metallic, Roughness, Normal). Shoulder fasteners use a constant material. One UV channel per mesh, 0–1 layouts, no UDIMs; the two material atlases occupy separate texture sets. No rig, animations, alternative LODs, gameplay controller or Nanite.

Open source/Robot.blend to edit or export/Robot.blend for the supplied evaluated setup; textures are packed and also supplied in ../textures. Blender 5.0.1 was used. FBX and OBJ are triangulated. Import OBJ with its MTL alongside it and preserve the ../textures directory. In Blender’s OBJ importer, set Normal, Metallic and Roughness images to Non-Color; BaseColor and Emission remain sRGB. The tangent normal maps in textures use OpenGL +Y. Keep emission strength at 4. OBJ material interpretation varies by application; use the BLEND version when exact shader settings matter.

The studio floor, lights and cameras shown in promotional renders are presentation only. No extra props or environment are included. The robot is supplied in its standing pose as a static prop; it cannot walk or pose without additional work. The open face is an intentional mechanical design.

Files: source and export BLEND, FBX, OBJ/MTL, original textures, derived Unity and Unreal maps, native engine packages, preview images.

Collision: none in BLEND/FBX/OBJ; the Unity prefab has 18 per-part box colliders and Unreal has one whole-body convex 18-DOP hull. These are static approximations, not articulated interaction colliders.
