Is it heavy on performance?
Not at all. The tool uses Blender's native instances for the slats, meaning you can cover massive wall areas with minimal impact on your computer's memory. It’s built to be smooth even on complex architectural scenes.
Does the panel have a "Bevel" or rounded edges
Yes! To ensure high-quality, realistic highlights in your renders, the slats are designed with a subtle bevel. This catches the light on the edges, avoiding the "perfectly sharp" look that can make 3D models look fake.
Can I change the wood species or color?
bsolutely. The pack includes 3 premium presets (Light Oak, Walnut, and Smoked Oak), but the generator is fully compatible with any wood texture or shader. Simply swap the material in the "Slat Material" slot.
Can I use my own materials?
Yes, the generator is designed to be flexible. You can use the included Thibblin Studio shaders or assign any of your own custom materials directly through the modifier interface.
Is the "Felt" backing mandatory?
No, it is completely optional. You can easily toggle the visibility of the acoustic felt in the modifier panel or simply not assign a material to it. This allows you to use the slats on existing walls or other surfaces.
