--- Parametric Primitives 1.0 ---

Create parametric primitives in Blender with unit-aware inputs, and per-object controls.

Overview:

Parametric Primitives is a Blender add-on providing easy-to-use, "smart" primitives with simple workflow.

Usage:

Press Shift+A -> Mesh -> You could find those primitives under the basic ones.

After creation, open the side menu (n) then settings can be adjusted unter the "Parametric" tab. Only the active one should show up.

You can use both mertic and imperial values while adjusting the primitives settings in supported fields.

Don't forget to "lock" the object when you plan to modify the topology, so you won't "regenerate" the mesh accidentally!

"Lock Parametric" toggle runs a "Merge by Distance" with threshold '0.001' (by default) to weld vertices.

After creation, you're able to adjust the pivot settings (Top-Bottom-Center) and it's possible to align to the 3D Cursor.

This method can come in handy when for example, you want to align to "face normals".

Tested on Blender 4.0(Portable) and 4.4.1.

v1.0 (Initial Release) includes:

  - Box

- Capsule

- Cog

- Cylinder (Can act as Cone)

- Drop

- Pyramid (Can act as Cake)

- Sphere

- Spring

- Star (With collapseable sides)

- Tube

Installation:

1. Download the ZIP file

2. Blender → Edit → Preferences → Add-ons → Install from Disk...

3. Select the ZIP file, Parametric Primitives (All-in-One) should be enabled

For exact heights with caps, remember cap fill geometry may affect perceived height in some view modes.
