Media Brennt Urban Asset Series
Photogrammetry Street Bollard
An authentic photogrammetry reconstruction of a historic metal street bollard captured on Düsseldorf’s Königsallee. Includes two photo-derived surface variants, three manually selectable mesh resolutions, packed 4K PBR materials and the original high-resolution scan.
Two Surface Variants
Choose between two photo-derived surface appearances for more flexibility when populating realistic urban scenes.
Three Mesh Resolutions
High, Mid and Low versions allow you to match the asset to foreground, mid-distance or background placement.
Packed 4K PBR Materials
Detailed baked surface information preserves weathering, dirt, edge wear, metal variation and ornamental relief.
Original Raw Scan Included
The high-resolution source scan is included for reference, custom retopology, rebaking and advanced workflows.
Overview
Photogrammetry Street Bollard is a detailed Blender-native urban prop based on a real historic bollard captured on Düsseldorf’s Königsallee.
The asset preserves the irregular silhouette, decorative relief, worn metal, dirt accumulation, scratches and authentic surface imperfections of the original street object. It is designed for realistic urban environments, architectural visualization, cinematic street scenes, exterior renders and environment set dressing.
Rather than providing only one heavy scan mesh, this pack includes two cleaned visual variants and three manually selectable mesh resolutions for each variant. This allows the same asset to be used in close-up renders, general environment work and larger city scenes.
Authentic Urban Detail Without the Raw-Scan Overhead
Use the cleaned High version for visible ornamental detail, the Mid version for general archviz and environment scenes, or the Low version when populating larger streets. The original scan remains available whenever you need the complete captured source.
What Is Included
- One authentic photogrammetry street bollard design captured from a real urban object.
- Two photo-derived surface variants with different visible wear and markings.
- Three cleaned mesh resolutions per surface variant.
- High-resolution mesh for foreground assets and close-ups.
- Mid-resolution mesh for general architectural and cinematic environments.
- Low-resolution mesh for repeated placement and background use.
- Original high-resolution raw scan for reference, custom retopology and rebaking.
- Packed 4K PBR texture maps for the cleaned materials.
- Prepared Cycles preview scene with two cameras and three lights.
- Metric Blender scene with organized collections.
Mesh Resolution Options
High
10,000 vertices
20,000 triangles
Recommended for hero assets, visible ornamental relief and close-up architectural renders.
Mid
2,446 vertices
4,892 triangles
Recommended for most environment scenes, cinematic shots and general archviz use.
Low
1,353 vertices
2,706 base triangles
Recommended for repeated background placement and larger street environments.
Two Surface Variants
The Blender file contains two cleaned asset collections. Both use the same core PBR surface information, while the second variant includes a dedicated diffuse texture for a different visible surface appearance.
- Surface Variant 01 — primary cleaned photogrammetry appearance.
- Surface Variant 02 — alternate photo-derived diffuse appearance with additional visible street markings.
Each variant contains its own High, Mid and Low mesh, allowing you to combine visual variation with the resolution needed for the selected camera distance.
4K PBR Material Set
The cleanup materials use packed 4096 × 4096 image textures connected to Blender Principled BSDF materials.
| Diffuse | Captured color, wear, grime, markings and surface variation. |
| Normal | Preserves smaller relief, dents, scratches and captured surface detail. |
| Metalness | Controls the metallic response of the bollard surface. |
| Specular | Provides additional control over reflected light response. |
| Roughness | Recreates varied gloss, dull metal, dirt and worn areas. |
| Additional Channels | Anisotropic, Sheen, Clearcoat and Clearcoat Roughness. |
Original Raw Scan
The source photogrammetry mesh is included in a separate RAW collection.
| Vertices | 138,639 |
| Faces | 275,639 |
| Triangles | 277,277 |
| Recommended Use | Reference, custom retopology, rebaking and advanced source workflows. |
